1. First, tell me something about yourself in this get to know you form. This form is your first assignment, called a “Prepare” assignment. ✏️

  2. Next , chose an object related to fresh water💧. You will investigate the origin of this object for this two-week introductory project. Here are some ideas of objects:

    1. Toilets
    2. Humidifiers or dehumidifiers
    3. Sinks
    4. Gutters (building or street)
    5. Cups, mugs
    6. Dams
    7. Fresh water travel objects (canoes, boats, ships).
    8. Food preparation (coffee or tea pots, cooking pots, ladles)
    9. Personal washing objects (wash clothes, sponges, towels, buckets, brushes)
    10. Agricultural objects (troughs, irrigation devices)
    11. Religious objects (ritual bathing, ceremonial objects)
    12. Manufacturing (water objects associated with production of clothing, plants, mining)
    13. Municipal water objects (pipes, fountains)
    14. Jobs related to fresh water (river guide, water quality engineer, ice carver, freshwater fishing)

Any thing (object) that touches fresh water or is defined by its interaction with fresh water is fine EXCEPT an idea, specific person, or actual body of water in history (we’ll cover all these later this semester)

✏️  Note: Chose an object you give a $@#% about. I don’t care if you love it (tooth brushes) or hate it (clogged toilets), just that you want to know more about it.

    1. Finally, learn the SIFT process

<aside> 💡 Learning SIFT will take more than 2 hours total, so consider breaking up your work into smaller sections, say two lessons at a time. Take notes for yourself.
