Most of us access the internet through wifi on an internet router or cellular service through our phones. Keep in mind, though, that if you have the option to connect two parts of your home network system with a ethernet cable, that connection will provide the fastest and most reliable service. Connecting one computer with an ethernet cable to your router can be especially useful if you have multiple people using the internet over wifi at the same time. Not only do wired connections communicate more quickly with the router, but wired connections are also less likely to be interrupted by competing wifi networks around your home or office.
